Die Verbundenheit mit der deutschen Firma Leica entstand durch die besonderen Kameras und vor allem durch die legendären Objektive. Nachdem mir ein ambitionierter spanischer Fotoausrüster 2012 meine erste Leica in die Hand drückte, veränderte sich mein Leben in vielerlei Hinsicht. Alles hier zu erzählen würde den Rahmen sprengen. Aber so viel kann ich sagen: Fotografieren ist eine Leidenschaft geworden. Meine ersten Versuche mit einer Messucherkamera, der Leica Monochrom, machte ich in Barcelona. Hier ist der Link zu meinen ersten Leica-Bildern. Vielleicht wird dann auch klar, warum mich mein asiatisches Premium-Equipment verlassen musste und die deutsche Traditionsmarke in meinen Fotokoffer einzog. Der ist übrigens so übersichtlich und doch so vielseitig, dass ich immer wieder schmunzeln muss, wie ich früher unterwegs war. Kurzum: Ich fotografiere (wieder) gerne im Leica-Look.

My affinity with the German company Leica came through its remarkable cameras and, more importantly, its legendary glasses. After an ambitious Spanish photo dealer gave me my first Leica in 2012, my life changed in many ways. To recount everything here would go beyond the scope of this article. But I can say that photography has become a passion. I made my first attempts with a rangefinder camera, the Leica Monochrom, in Barcelona. Here is the link to my first Leica pictures. Perhaps it is obvious that my premium Asian equipment had to leave me and the traditional German brand moved into my camera bag. By the way, it is so clearly laid out and yet so versatile that it always makes me smile when I think of how I used to travel. In short, I love (once again) to take special photos with the Leica look.
